How to develop a simple android app with Google app inventor?
Google App Inventor is an application provided by Google that allows anyone to create software applications for the Android operating system (OS). It uses a graphical interface, very similar to Scratch and the StarLogo TNG user interface, that allows users to drag-and-drop visual objects to create an application that can run on the Android system, which runs on many mobile devices. The application was made available through request on July 12, 2010, and released publicly on December 15, 2010. It is made for people unfamiliar with computer programming. The reasoning is that if young people develop applications to fulfill their own needs and install them on their own phones, they will more likely use the phones more often, or switch to the Android OS if they are not already using a phone that runs the system.
I developed a simple application with app inventor and it was so easy. You dont need any programming knowledge ,but good ideas. They will provide code blocks for a lot of tasks and we just need to drag and drop it.First, you go to www.appinventorbeta.com and then, start developing your app.
Start a new project and give a project name. There will be four main sections ,Palette ,Viewer ,Components ,Properties.Insert buttons, labels or whatever you needed.(In my app, when you click on him, he will make barking sound!!)
Then open the block editor (it may take few minutes) ,there you can start the emulator. Here you decide the behavior of your app. After that, package the application, as an .apk file ,so you can store , share and manually install in android phones.Simple steps!!
For detailed tutorial: ( www.appinventorbeta.com/learn/tutorials )
The app i developed (ramu.apk) is so simple one, and of no particular use. Anyhow, i am giving a link to download the app because some of my friends may need that.

Inspirational Quotes by Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs (February 24, 1955 – October 5, 2011) was the co-founder,chairman, and chief executive officer of Apple Inc. He lead the technology world with new innovations which are the true picture of inspiration and creativity. iPhone, iPad and the iPod are the best examples of quality gadgets from Apple.
Here are some inspirational quotes by Steve Jobs...
- “Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me … Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful… that’s what matters to me.” - The Wall Street Journal (Summer 1993).
- “My job is not to be easy on people. My jobs is to take these great people we have and to push them and make them even better.”
- “I was worth over $1,000,000 when I was 23, and over $10,000,000 when I was 24, and over $100,000,000 when I was 25, and it wasn’t that important because I never did it for the money.”
- “Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don’t settle.”[Stanford commencement speech, June 2005]
- “We don’t get a chance to do that many things, and every one should be really excellent. Because this is our life. Life is brief, and then you die, you know? And we’ve all chosen to do this with our lives. So it better be damn good. It better be worth it.” – [Fortune]
- “I think if you do something and it turns out pretty good, then you should go do something else wonderful, not dwell on it for too long. Just figure out what’s next.”[NBC Nightly News, May 2006]
- "I want to put a ding in the universe."
- "Quality is important than quantity. One home run is much better than two doubles."
- "It is more fun to be a pirate than to join the navy "[1985]
- “You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.”[Stanford commencement speech, June 2005]
- "It's really hard to design products by focus groups. A lot of times, people don't know what they want until you show it to them." [BusinessWeek, May 25, 1998]
"“No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true."[Stanford commencement speech, June 2005]

Best tips to improve system speed!
1. Let your PC boot up completely before opening any applications.
2. Do not set very large file size images as your wallpaper.
3. Do not clutter your Desktop with a lot of shortcuts. Each shortcut on the desktop uses up to 500 bytes of RAM
4. Empty the recycle bin regularly.
5. Delete the internet temporary files regularly.
6. When installing new Softwares disable the option of having a tray icon. The tray icons use up available RAM, and also slow down the booting of your PC.
7. Defragment the hard drive once every two months.
8. Always keep two partitions in the hard drive, and install all large softwares in the second partition.
9. Protect the PC from the dust.
All these are simple , but effective steps to improve the system speed.Try it and feel the difference.

Make your pendrive bootable with MakeBootable
If you are facing some critical windows problems, and the CD-ROM is not functioning ,definitely you will need a bootable pendrive.
MakeBootable is a free software which lets you convert your pendrive into a bootable media. After making your pendrive bootable with MakeBootable, you can use your pendrive like a windows xp bootable cd.
MakeBootable is an easy, freeware application. It consists of a single executable file and requires no installation. To use MakeBootable, run the MakeBootable executable file.On the main window, select the USB device you wish to make bootable. One important thing is you need to convert the pendrive into FAT format.(It doesn't support FAT32 and NTFS file systems).Next, you need to change the boot up setting in the system BIOS.With your USB device still plugged, restart your system. Enter the BIOS setup menu and change the boot device setting. Select USB Device as First Boot device in the boot device priority. If the boot-up files are created in the USB drive, select USB-HDD or USB-ZIP (preferred). If the boot-up files are created in the floppy drive of your device, select USB-FDD (for pen drive that supports security mode).
Once done, save and exit the BIOS setup. Now, you should be able to boot up with your USB device.
